It’s been almost one year since Marie Claire Malaysia’s Anti-Snatch Theft Campaign, in which we called for safer streets and voiced our right to carry handbags in public without the threat of being robbed and assaulted. In the process of campaigning, we staged a brilliant celebrity photoshoot that saw Asha Gill, Bernie Chan, Stephanie Chai and Jay Menon (to name only a few names) supporting our ‘Reclaim Our Streets’ message, launched our campaign petition both on paper and online, then took our campaign to the streets of Bukit Bintang.

Since our campaign article ‘Snatch, Slash, Grab’ first appeared in our May 2011 issue, we’d like to know whether you’ve witnessed any changes to the security of our streets, or if you feel that things are just the same as before – or even worse.
