FENDI FABULOUS
Legendary fashion house Fendi scored yet another Asian first following its spectacular Great Wall show, this time showcasing its Fall/Winter collection on the iconic new landmark, the Floating Island located on Korea’s Han River. The show generated international awareness through a live broadcast with an A-list incorporating Asia’s finest. Celebrities such as Zhang Ziyi, Hilary Tsui, Hana Matsushima and Patty Hou graced the event as did Fendi CEO Michael Burke, and the inimitable Sylvia Venturini Fendi, the label’s creative director who flew in from Rome. The show was followed by a grand dinner and an after-party featuring DJ Dimitri from Paris.

ROCK AROUND THE COCKTAILS
International superstar Beyoncé proved she truly runs the world at the global launch of her new album 4 in association with Belvedere. The Dreamgirl treated an exhilarated crowd to a medley of songs from her new album and classic Beyoncé hits at the intimate Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. Guests, who included Jay Z, Tom Ford, Gwyneth Paltrow, Stella McCartney and Adele, all sipped on Belvedere cocktails, a collection named 4 after Beyoncé’s new album, while the global star performed her tracks.

LEGENDARY
Montblanc unveiled their new fragrance, Legend, with classic performances and cocktails at Pavilion Centre Court, Kuala Lumpur. Emcee Sean Lee hyped up the crowd, which included local celebrities Owen Yap, Alan Yun and Zoey Rahman, as Marine Obin, Operational Marketing Manager of Interparfums, explained the concept of the Montblanc Legend fragrance, a powerful, subtly masculine scent. Guests were also treated to a performance by renowned electric violinist Dennis Lau and were given the chance to walk away with a surprise lucky draw prize—one of the brand’s famous luxury pens—at the end of the night.

MIDDLE EASTERN DELIGHTS
Lena Jewellery launched its latest jewellery collections at an exclusive high tea at WIP in Bangsar Shopping Centre. Inspired by Islamic symbols and Middle Eastern art and architecture, guests were asked to wear white and were given ample opportunity to see the Rukayat and Shalimar collections for themselves while munching on delicious treats. Lena Jewellery founder Jaslena Ahmad also had her nearest and dearest model the pieces for attendees to see – including her own children, Qadira and Qadar
