An exclusive invitation only event to showcase the Fendi Spring Summer 2011 Defile collection
was held at Vue Privée, a contemporary photography gallery on Cairnhill Road in Singapore.
Celebrities Marion Caunter, Bobby Tonelli and Singaporean model Sheila Sim were among the
guests. The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the stunning Fendi SS11 advertising
campaign shot by iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Paris Chic
An exclusive private cocktail was held in conjunction with the re-opening of the newly renovated
Gucci store in Rue Royale, Paris. In celebration, Frida Giannini created a special edition New
Jackie bag in grey ostrich which is limited to six pieces and in soft grey deer skin, limited to
thirty pieces and only available at the Rue Royale boutique. In addition, the Rue Royale boutique
will be the first Gucci store in Europe to offer its clientele a new dedicated Made-To-Order
service for one of the House’s most iconic bags: the New Bamboo bag which is available in 3
sizes and 25 different colours of crocodile.

Bags Galore
The recent launch of Klutched for Marina Mahatir was held at Le Midi restaurant in Bangsar
shopping centre. Attended by KL’s finest, guests enjoyed a sneak peek of the latest bags, clutches,
BB, Iphone and Ipad cases from Klutched. Made from exotic skins such as, glossy stingray,
metallic python, embossed lizard and the softest lambskin, attendees were spoilt for choice.
Klutched for Marina M will feature a specially designed and produced line that embodies Datin
Paduka Marina Mahathir’s essence and style. Proceeds from the sale of these precious pieces will
go to a selected charity, which will change each season.

Studded Surprise
Thomas Sabo hosted a party to celebrate the launch of its latest sterling silver collection at
the Smoke & Fire Variety Club in KL. The event was attended by KL’s social circle Amber Chia,
Andrea Fonseka, Chermaine Poo, Deborah Henry and many more glamorous faces. Emcee
Xandria Ooi entertained the guest while showcasing Thomas Sabo’s new collection. Violinist
Dennis Lau, singer Ash Nair and beat box Shawn Lee fuelled the event with musical talent. POP
NOW is an inspiringly fresh collection full of creative flashes of genius that sets trends and
makes fashion statements.
